The nearby king and the captain of his army came to Abraham and said, God is with you in all that you do.

 

 

 

 

Let’s make a deal. I want you to promise me that you will be as kind to me as I have been to you.

 

 

 

 

Abraham said ok, but first you must have your people stop filling my wells of water with dirt.

 

The king said, I don’t know who has been doing that. You did not tell me, this is the first I’ve heard of it.

 

 

 

 

So they both promised and gave presents to remember the promise.

Abraham planted a grove of trees there and called God, the One who never ends. And he stayed there many days.
