In the tenth year and the tenth month the word came from the Lord to Ezekiel for the country of Egypt.

Talk and say, This is what the Lord God says, I am against you king of Egypt who say, it is all mine.

I will put hooks in your jaws and the fish of the river will stick to your skin.

I will throw you away in the open field and the animals and birds will eat you and then all the country will know that I am the Lord, the One who made everything, not you.

I will make your land so yukky that no people or animals will ever go walk through it. It will be empty for 40 years.

Then I will be kind and bring back the people, but you will be a small country, so you don’t get puffed up against Me again. You don’t get to be king anymore because of the bad and hurt you did.

You will remember the bad stuff you did and how much you hurt people and you will know that I am the Lord.

Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, was my helper to bring down puffed up Tyre, and he didn’t get any pay, so I give him the land of Egypt and all its treasures for his pay.

Then I will make the house of Israel to start being great again, like the bud of a flower starting to open up.

And I will give you words in your mouth, Ezekiel, to tell them and they will hear you

and they will know that I am the Lord.

Howl loud because the day that God is going to spank the world for its badness is coming close.

Many people in many countries will fall down under the sword and are broken.

I will make rivers dry and sell the lands into the hands of bad ones.

I will break down all the statues they say are gods. I will let loose ones that were captured. And the daughters of the capturers will be captured.

In the first month of the 11th year the Lord said to Ezekiel, I have broken the arm of Pharoah, the king of Egypt. It won’t be fixed. I will make the sword fall out of his hand.

I will toss all his people around the nations of the world. I will make strong the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand.

But I will break Pharoah’s arms and he will make loud groans. And they will know that I am the Lord when I scatter his people around the nations of the world.

The Lord told Ezekiel, Tell Pharoah, the king of Egypt, Who is like you?

The country of Assyria was like a cedar tree in the forest of Lebanon, big and beautiful, full of thick branches.

The waters made him the tallest above all the other trees. But they are gone now because they got puffed up against Me.

All the birds of the air made their nests in his branches and the animals of the field cuddled up under the branches that made shade for all the world.

None of the trees in the garden of God were more beautiful. I made him beautiful by so many branches so that all the trees in My garden wanted to be like him.

But when he knew his tallness and beauty his heart got proud and puffed up. So I brought him down and chased him away for his badness.

The people all left his shadow and the branches are all broken. This is so that none of the trees will lift themselves up or get puffed up as if they made themselves.

They will all go down into the pit.

The Lord says this: I held back everything for him. Then I made the countries shake at the sound of his fall when I threw him into hell for his badness.

You are better than the best trees of Eden, but you will be brought down lowest into the deepest parts of the earth. You will lay down there with all the other bad ones, This is what the Lord God says.

In the 12th year and in the 12th month the words came from the Lord to Ezekiel that said, Sing a sad song for Pharoah, king of Egypt, that says:

You are like a young lion walking around through the nations. You are like a whale in the middle of the sea, swallowing up everything, making the waters muddy so no one can have a drink.

So I spread out My net over you. I will throw you out into an empty field and the animals of the world will eat you up.

I will cover the heavens and make the stars dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud and the moon won’t let her light shine.

I will make people be amazed and upset, every man shaking and scared for his life.

Then the waters will be clear and deep and smooth so the people and animals can drink.

The strong and mighty ones talk to you out of hell where they have to stay for all the bad stuff they did. Many countries did bad and are there.
